Task Keeper
Task Keeper is a kanban board for FigJam. You place it on a board and get four columns, To do, In progress, Review and Done, with cards you can prioritize, assign, split into subtasks, tag and link to objects on the board. A card only reaches Done when someone approves it in Review.
Why a widget
Section titled “Why a widget”A FigJam widget is an object on the board that keeps its own data. Everyone who opens the file sees the same cards and can work on them at the same time, and the tasks are saved in the file with the rest of the board. A plugin runs once and closes, and a template is plain shapes without logic, so neither can remember tasks or react to clicks the way Task Keeper does.
Features
Section titled “Features”- Four columns with a fixed flow: To do → In progress → Review → Done. Arrow buttons move cards; there is no drag and drop. See Using the board.
- Review step. Approve moves a card to Done and records who approved it. Revision sends it back to In progress with a note that is required, and counts the revisions.
- Priorities High, Medium and Low. Each column sorts by priority, and you can reorder cards of the same priority with up and down buttons.
- Assignees from a team list that fills itself with the people in the file. Profile photos, or initials when there is no photo. See Team, filters and history.
- Subtasks with a counter on the card that turns green when all are checked.
- Links to objects. Link a card to a frame, sticky or any other object and jump to it with one click, even on another page.
- Tags in eight colors that you create, rename, recolor and delete.
- Filters for your tasks, a teammate, unassigned cards, a priority or a tag. The progress bar and the column counts follow the filter.
- History on every card: who created, moved, sent to review, approved, requested a revision or assigned it, and when. The last 50 entries are kept.
- Paste a list of several lines to add one task per line.
- Collapse columns and Clear done to keep a long board readable.
- Sizes from 1x to 100x, and a pastel background picked automatically for each new widget.
- English and Turkish interface.
- No server and no account. Everything is stored in the Figma file. See Data and privacy.
Task Keeper has no due dates, no notifications or emails, no personal views (everyone sees the same board, including the filter) and no export.
