Initial public release.

  • Editor panel (Tools > ta Asset Doctor) with a project health score, summary filters (errors, warnings, auto-fixable, unreferenced), category filters, search, List and Table views, a details panel with rename preview and referencing assets, and JSON/CSV export.
  • Content Browser integration: Check with ta Asset Doctor on selected folders and assets.
  • Ten built-in rules: Naming.Convention, Naming.InvalidCharacters, Path.Length, Path.RootFolder, Asset.Redirector, Texture.PowerOfTwo, Texture.MaxSize, Texture.SuffixSettings, StaticMesh.MissingLODs and StaticMesh.NoCollision. Each can be disabled or given a different severity.
  • Naming presets: Epic Recommended and Allar Style Guide, or a custom table with support for subclasses, Blueprint kinds and Blueprint parent classes.
  • Auto-fix: renames with reference updates and redirector fix-up, transliteration of common accented letters, texture Maximum Texture Size, compression and sRGB fixes, and redirector fix-up. Every fix in the panel asks for confirmation.
  • Reference counts for every issue, based on the Asset Registry.
  • Data Validation integration: issues appear in Validate Assets, validate on save and changelist validation; Error issues fail validation.
  • TAAssetDoctor commandlet for CI with -Paths, -Report (JSON or CSV), -FailOn and -Fix, and exit codes 0, 1 and 2.
  • Python and Blueprint API through TAAssetDoctorSubsystem: scan, apply fixes, query referencers and export reports.
  • Custom rules in Blueprint or C++, including custom automatic fixes in C++.
  • Settings stored in Config/DefaultEditor.ini for sharing through source control.
  • Supports Unreal Engine 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8 (Win64, Mac and Linux editor). MIT license.
