Panel over camera

While you lay out a shot, Draughtsman draws its storyboard panel over the level viewport, so you match the drawing instead of guessing. The controls are at the top of the panel (Panel over camera) and in the level editor toolbar.

Mode What you see
Off Nothing.
Overlay The panel over the scene, with the Opacity slider.
Lines Only the drawn lines of the panel, tinted: match the composition while the scene stays visible.
Wipe The panel on the left, the camera view on the right. The Wipe slider moves the split line.
Corner A small inset of the panel in a corner of the frame. The Size slider sets how wide it is.

The slider next to the modes follows the mode: Opacity for Overlay and Lines, Wipe for Wipe and Size for Corner. Changes show in the viewport right away.

The line colour of Lines, the corner of Corner and the starting values are settings.

With Follow Sequencer on (the default), the panel under the Sequencer playhead is shown while the board’s master sequence or one of its shot sequences is open, panel by panel as time goes on. Scrub, and the panels change with the shot.

The badge at the top right says what is shown, for example sh030 · panel 1/3 · picked.

Pick a shot in the list, or click one of its panels in the shot details, to show it without Sequencer. This works in any viewport camera, for example while you pilot the shot’s camera.

Clicking a panel thumbnail turns Follow Sequencer off, so the panel you picked stays even while the sequence is open. Turn the checkbox on again to follow the playhead; Open in Sequencer, Go to shot and a double-click on a shot turn it back on too.
