Stone House
A free two-storey village house. The ground floor has rough stone walls; the upper floor is plastered and timber-framed, with painted wooden windows, window boxes, a chimney pipe and a gutter, under a low hipped roof of clay tiles with wide eaves. A small porch roof covers the door. The house stands on a stone base in a yard with a weathered wooden fence. For rural and old-town scenes, historical settings, archviz backgrounds and stills.

- Free for personal and commercial use.
- Requires 3ds Max 2016 or newer. The V-Ray materials need V-Ray (3.5 or newer); without it, use the FBX.
- The scene finds its maps in the textures folder next to the .max file. Keep that folder next to it.
- The FBX was exported from the standard-material version of the scene. Its maps are referenced relative to the FBX (maps\...).
- The gallery images are renders of this scene.
- No interior, no LODs, no collision and no rig.
Questions
Which software do I need?
For the .max scene: 3ds Max 2016 or newer with V-Ray. The FBX opens in any FBX-capable software (Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, Unity) with standard materials.
The textures are missing when I open the scene. What do I do?
Keep the textures folder next to the .max file. If you moved it, relink once with Asset Tracking → Set Path.
Can I use it in Unreal Engine or Unity?
Yes, import the FBX. It is about 195K triangles without LODs; the materials need rebuilding for real-time use.
Can I use it in commercial work?
Yes. It is free under Fab's Standard license, for both Personal and Professional buyers.
