Notes
- Free for personal and commercial use.
- No rig, no animations, no LODs and no collision.
- Each material is one mesh, so the board opens flat and the checkers are not separate objects.
- The 3ds Max scene uses V-Ray 3.6 materials without their original bitmaps; use the PBR textures from the GLB or the Substance project.
Questions
Can I use it in a commercial project?
Yes. Both the Personal and the Professional license are free, so you can use it in commercial games, films and renders.
Which file should I use in Unreal Engine or Unity?
The GLB. Unreal Engine's glTF importer brings in all six PBR materials with their textures; in Unity, use a glTF importer such as glTFast.
Do I need V-Ray for the 3ds Max file?
Only for its original materials. Without V-Ray, 3ds Max 2018 or newer still opens the scene and the geometry.
