Basilica Corridor
A basilica interior for 3ds Max and V-Ray: a long nave lined with marble colonnades, side aisles, an upper gallery with fresco panels, arched windows, a coffered timber roof and wooden pulpit canopies. Every surface has 8K PBR textures, and the Substance 3D Painter project is included to re-texture the whole scene. Ready to render, for historical film and TV sets, architectural visualization or stills.
Personal $49.99 · Professional $99.99, under the Fab Standard License.

Notes
- Requires 3ds Max 2018 or newer with V-Ray 3.6 or newer; the Substance project needs Substance 3D Painter.
- The scene points to the maps with absolute paths (C:\_23 Basilica_Corridor\maps\). Unzip to that folder, or relink once with Asset Tracking → Set Path.
- The gallery images are V-Ray renders of this scene; the last two are wireframe renders.
- No FBX/OBJ or game-engine version, no LODs and no collision.
Questions
Which software do I need?
3ds Max 2018 or newer and V-Ray 3.6 or newer. The Substance project needs Substance 3D Painter.
The textures are missing when I open the scene. What do I do?
The scene uses absolute paths. Relink once with Asset Tracking → Set Path to the unzipped maps folder, or add that folder to the External Files paths.
Can I use it in Unreal Engine or Unity?
Not directly. It is a V-Ray scene with 8K textures. You can export the geometry from 3ds Max, but the materials have to be rebuilt for real-time use. The Substance project helps here: it can export texture sets for Unreal or Unity.
How do I open the Substance project?
Download part1of3, part2of3 and part3of3 and unzip all three into the same folder. You get SubstancePainter_files.spp.001, .002 and .003. Join them into one file: in a Windows command prompt in that folder, run copy /b SubstancePainter_files.spp.001+SubstancePainter_files.spp.002+SubstancePainter_files.spp.003 SubstancePainter_files.spp, or right-click the .001 file in 7-Zip and choose Combine files. Then open SubstancePainter_files.spp in Substance 3D Painter.
Can I use it in commercial work?
Yes, under Fab's Standard license. Personal covers individuals and small companies; studios above the revenue limit need Professional.
